Land Acknowledgement

CUPE Local 5556 acknowledges that we are gathered on Treaty 1 Territory, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene Peoples, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. We honour the ongoing stewardship and protection of this land by Indigenous Communities and recognize the past and present injustices faced by Indigenous peoples.
